Step-1: Open the rpd
in offline mode. Go to utilities --> Generate Metadata Dictionary.
Save the folders in a
path.
Step-2: Copy the
directory created in step-1 and pastes it in the application server folders. In
the below path,
D:\product\10.1.3.2.0\OracleAS_1\j2ee\home\applications\analytics\analytics
Step-3: Update your
instanceconfig.xml file with below given syntax.
D:\OracleBIData\web\config
Step-4: Restart
presentation services.
Once above steps are
done, you will see new ‘glasses’ icon starts appearing whenever you hover over
a column.
